A small, rare and beautiful foursome of antique Burmese ruby beads.
Actually, these four beads are a selection out of a larger parcel from our collection which were documented in our archives as natural pure Burmese.
We have sent a few samples for a gemological analysis and they were all graded as Burmese origin with no evidence of any heat treatments or other. We are taking into assumptions these four offerings would earn the same conclusions but they can be submitted for analysis upon request for further confirmation.
Even though we documented them as antique beads, GIA named their forms as double cabochon, curved and smoothed on all sides of the gem. The four rubies in this present offering possess similar, unique and off-balanced forms which further authenticates their antique status.
Their color is a beautiful pure old Burma red, these gems also exhibit the glowing phenomena typical for such old Burmese material. They possess scattered inclusions and some minor chips which classifies them as translucent material and quite interesting and esthetic to the eye…, it offers character and marks further authenticating its natural status.
Available as a single or as a rare lot!
