As the saying goes, “good things come in small packages”, with this miniature creation the saying gets a whole new meaning. This small tenth (0.10) of a carat fancy purple pink Square Emerald Daimond (or more widely known as an Asscher Cut) it a true miniature treasure. It’s rare natural color is of a beautiful mix of pink and purple colors with the purple hue a bit more dominant.
It was cut to a Square Emerald step cut design which is a rare event in itself, most will be cut to modified cuts in order to enhance their face up color appearance. We cut this small treasure with the same love and affection we would any other significant large Diamond. It incorporates a facet design and patina mimicking the old Emerald Cuts which popularized the early part of the 19th Century and well into the Art Deco Era.
The right proportions combined with a crown made of large step facets in combination with the small table create a beautiful visual play of light even for such a small Diamond.
