We all get age marks as we grow older, so do old gems as they go through their long journeys of life.
These five antique rubies are no exception to this fact.., all five of them have been with us for more than seven decades, and through all this time they were left unset as is. A rarity in today’s gem stories as most were set and worn in their jeweled houses for decades, perhaps centuries…
What is really special about these five is their resemblance to one another. Perhaps from the same lapidarist? All were crafted to a roundish sort of ovalish, cushiony shapes while displaying matching colors, faceting styles and craftsmanship proportions…, each was cut and polished to very flat proportions exhibiting a much larger appearance than such cut weights usually do.
