This beautiful emerald was refashioned from a larger antique *Colombian emerald which required a complete make-over.
We took a larger 3.60 carat dull, beat up old gem and brought new life into it while attempting to adhere to an old world craftsmanship protocall and look.
We styled it into an old-charmed antique cushion appearance. This gem possesses a higher crown surrounding a small table mimicking characteristics from old world gems.
As we began polishing off the excess chips and aged marks we discovered a wonderful phenomena which is usually exclusive to older emerald materials.., that superb glowing ability which catches our visual attention in most lighting environments this gem is looked upon.
Even though this emerald displays a beautiful lighter color, its glowing phenomena definitely enhances the cool crispy mint color of its show-off. A gem that genuinely catches the attention of whomever is in its viewing range.
