Three stone Old Mine Cut ensemble
Rare elongated Old Mine Cut Diamonds, cut to mimic the Old Mine Cut Diamonds from the 18th & 19th Century.
This over half carat center (0.53ct) possesses a rare and beautiful deep & rich brownish yellowish orange body and face up color which glows differently in various lighting environments. Old Mine Cuts love both spotlighting and dimmed warm lighting, they create an array of large sparkling events made of colored flashes due to its deep color.
Old Mine Cuts possess an uncommonly high crown which produces the visual we call “the sculpture effect”. An old school feature which not only allows a play of light from the internal facets but also lets the viewer enjoy a three dimensional light reflective visual created from its large crown facets combined with its small table.
Accompanying this rare center are a beautiful 3/4 carat total weight pair of long and colorless Old Mine Cuts that possess the same old charm patina as the center. Both were cut by us to a pair while keeping the old feel characteristics. They are a pair but each still possesses its own personal beauty marks. Coming in at a rare 1:1.60 ratio, they can respectfully flank numerous center gem options.
